Nearly 2,000 People Chose Thrift Yesterday
Yesterday, nearly 2,000 people walked through our doors for our 50% off sale, making it the biggest sale day in our history.
But honestly, the most important part wasn’t the numbers.
It was what those numbers represented.
Every cart filled with secondhand clothing meant fewer items headed to a landfill. Every purchase helped extend the life of pieces that still had value, style, and stories left in them. And every dollar spent helped generate funds for local charities right here in Nashville.
That’s why we do this.
We believe shopping should be more than just buying things. We believe it can strengthen communities, reduce waste, and create a more thoughtful way to consume fashion.
And yesterday proved that thousands of people believe that too.
In a world dominated by fast fashion and overconsumption, choosing thrift is a small action that creates real impact. It keeps usable items in circulation. It reduces demand for unnecessary production. And it makes fashion more accessible and affordable for everyone.
Yesterday wasn’t just busy. People waited in long lines, dug through racks, shared finds with friends, and showed patience and kindness through the chaos. You turned a sale day into something bigger: a reminder that secondhand shopping is no longer niche, it’s becoming the future.
So whether you left with vintage denim, a lamp, a jacket, or just one really good find, thank you.
Thank you for showing up.
Thank you for thrifting with purpose.
And thank you for helping prove that shopping can actually do good.
Our next 50% off sale will be happening June 19th and we will be celebrating 21 years of ThriftSmart. You can’t miss it!
